Are you giving gas too fast? Then watch out – the 2025 Speed Marathon is taking place today, so there are more speed cameras and police patrols on the roads than usual. And no, they really aren’t just where you expect them.

This event isn’t about catching as many drivers as possible, it’s a reminder that speed is a common cause of accidents.

By the way, the locations of the checks were suggested by the people themselves this year – so maybe someone has reported your favourite ‘shortcut’.

So today (and tomorrow, too) take your foot off the gas, put a smile on your face and drive in peace.
